I am Nancy Saibara-Naritomi, I'm 56 years old and I was born and raised in the Manchester area of Pasadena, Texas.
I like three things passionately:
1. Judicial reform
2. Political reform
3. Safety reform of food, water and air
I am not afraid. I do not give up in a good cause. I love good causes most people feel are lost. I get a hugh energy from such challenges.

1. Why do you want to be on the local station board?
Learn and give creativity and energy (above average) to goals of peace, justice.
2. How do you envision the Local Station Board working with the Pacifica Foundation, KPFT and the community?
More access to international community around the world.
3. How could the station better serve its listeners?
Provide more ways to take action for justice. Like mini-updates on pending bills.
4. Describe some actions you would take to increase the diversity of the listening audience?
Record programs with foreign translations to be distributed worldwide (many students study English as a 2nd language). Ask for donations. Recorded in Houston, dubbed in foreign countries.
5. What sources of funding, other than listener donations, do you feel KPFT should solicit?

6. Please state briefly the skills, experience, educational background, work history, organizational affiliations, areas of community service, areas of interest and expertise that you would bring to the Pacifica network as a member of the Local Station Board.
Lived in Japan for 28 years, anti-war activism, civil activism (tax waste), court action plaintiff against gangsters, against mistress, against ex-husband, defendant versus IRS. Strong passionate speaker for justice.
7. On which Local Station Board committees are you interested in actively serving?
Outreach, governance, finance.
