You, especially, have gone far beyond the call of duty in some very grueling governance jobs. Your knowledge of WBAI history and of the mechanics of governance make you a valuable resource on the LSB and on those committees. I thank you for confronting the Programming committee for its easy acceptance of one member's saying I had a "melanin deficiency" disease just because I criticized the chair's blatantly poor planning of an abortive Town Hall meeting and her very belated notice (after my prompting) that it had been canceled. I thank you for your strong invocation of realism when cuckoo "solutions" to station problems are proposed, and for your not-always-welcome practical approach. I wish I had a staff ballot so I could vote for you, but--hey, I don't qualify for one. What is alarming is the fact that c. 25% of staff who DO qualify have so far not received them!
