Delphine Blue Candidate Statement

As a producer at WBAI for the past two decades I have deep concerns about the future of WBAI. I fear for the future of this beloved and embattled institution. It is my belief that WBAI is on a crash course towards extinction and it is for this reason that I am throwing my hat into the ring or perhaps the lion’s den, of this election to be a member of the LSB.

I DO NOT STAND FOR POLITICAL FACTIONS. I DO NOT STAND FOR INTIMIDATION. I DO NOT STAND FOR RACISM OR SEXISM OR ANTISEMITISM.

I stand for great radio. WBAI was once a great radio station. I hope it can be vital once again supported by strong and smart development, through the use of the new technology of podcasting and HD 2 radio, and by programming that is compelling. I hop to contribute to this end through the participation in the LSB.

WBAI is bankrupt. Dan Siegel of the Pacifica National Board is corrupt. He has been temporarily placed on the national board for one month to sabotage the elections and allow the WBAI and Justice and Unity corruption to continue

WBAI is bankrupt. These elections should be cancelled and redone due to the censorship of the candidates that is taking place.
