WBAI vote count injunction lifted

On January 24, 2008, the two-month-old injunction on conduction the WBAI vote count

was lifted by the judge in part 23 of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, County of New York.

"The Defendants shall not count the ballots of the WBAI Delegate election

until all qualified voter who have not yet received ballots are given ballots

and are provided with a reasonable opportunity to cast them.

"Accordingly, the Defendants shall establish as the final date for submission

of ballots in the WBAI election as February 23, 2008."

However, the court later removed the Election Close Date, leaving it up to

the discretion of the Election Supervisors. In consultation with our legal team,

in keeping with the attempt to provide replacement ballots to all qualified members

who request them in a timely manner, we have set the final date as March 14, 2008.

or by leaving a detailed telephone message at (212) 209-2828 no later than March 7.

On Friday March 14, from noon to 9pm, ballots may be requested and delivered

at WBAI, 120 Wall Street. Call ahead to gain clearance through security.

In this movement, & THIS PACIFICA THING IS A MOVEMENT! you are all loved by me. Religious, individual, color,political preference boundaries are all lying beside me on the ground getting no attention. Just come A C T in this little thing we have. There are no monsters here like 'corporate welfare' or 'ethnic cleansing'; or judges robes of any color. When us activists get together they can't touch us with anything & the 'Patriot Act' is a snafew. Take your passion, like 'Abby' with a lawsuit to fight for the right to wear the US flag, & vote, VOTE! V_O_T_E - ! Like 'Abby's' book 'V O T E.'
