Grigsby Hubbard appointed the Interim General Manager of WPFW Radio

It is my pleasure to announce the appointment of Grigsby Hubbard as interim General
Manager of WPFW effective immediately.  Mr. Hubbard was one of the founders of WPFW and
has maintained a commitment to the station for over 35 years.  His involvement actually
began before the station even went on the air.  He is well known and respected by
virtually all stakeholders of WPFW.  Mr. Hubbard has decades of managerial experience
in both the nonprofit and for profit sectors.

I would like to thank Ron Pinchback, outgoing WPFW General Manager, for his years of 
service and commitment to WPFW and Pacifica and wish him well in his future endeavors.

I will be working closely with the LSB in the selection of a permanent general manager 
for WBAI as provided in the Pacifica By-laws.  I look forward to collaboration with WPFW
staff and management and the WPFW Local Station Board in this transition period to 
ensure the future success and stability of a station cherished by many in our nation's 
capital.
